Oman Sustainability Week (OSW) is a national event hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MoEM) and undertaken by the Oman Petroleum Development Company (PDO), aiming to implement innovative strategies in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Oman’s road to sustainable development, starting from the national interests, creates a new model of sustainable development. The event focused on 17 themes, including green energy, clean water resources, climate change, industry, reForm and infrastructure, and closely aligned with Oman’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and 2040 Vision. The event will be held from March 13th to 17th, 2022. The main activities include: large-scale exhibitions, high-level conferences, award ceremonies and field trips.
